The Tough Joystick is a heavy duty switched joystick (with 4 or 8 directions) and built in mode switch. It can also be used in conjunction with other switched controls if the user can only activate in one or two directions. Ideal for someone with high tone that can put their equipment to the test.

Virtually no joystick throw! Force based technology. Dealer accessible sensitivity adjustment. Adjustable for approximately 10 to 50 grams of force. A combination of Sip and Puff Head Array helps eliminate the issues sometimes associated with pure Sip and Puff drive control. By not having to differentiate between a hard and soft sip or puff for four directions, the user can do any level of sip or puff for forward and reverse and use a slight roll of the head for left and right, allowing much better control and veering. We also offer our Opti-Stop fiber optic switch attached to the straw as a standard feature as an essential safety component of a Sip and Puff system. The chair will automatically stop if the switch and straw come away from the driver’s mouth.

The Switch It JSC is a full direction joystick in a very small housing for alternative mounting solutions such as for chin control, tray, or foot control.

Similar to our Drive Control Scanners, but dedicated strictly to seat functions, our Seat Function Scanners come in single and dual options. The Single Scanner allows seat activation with one switch of any type as the seat function is displayed on a scrolling display, with an adjustable time rate, while a dual scanner allows a second switch to control the scrolling.

The Switch It VersaGuide is a fully proportional compact joystick. Over half the size of standard wheelchair joysticks. Available with regular amount of force (VG) and with a light amount of force (VG-EZ) required to drive the wheelchair.
