The lightweight Drop Mount hardware is simple to operate with a single combined clamp and mechanism unit. The release mechanism is simple to operate, and suitable for single-handed use, and those with limited hand function. The hardware gives plenty of adjustability and rigidity and can be used on a wide range of wheelchair frames.
Single Mount hardware is a lightweight option for lower height back supports and has two point of attachment to the back support canes of a wheelchair. Like Dual Mount, this hardware option also offers simpler set up, increased adjustability, angle, and growth.
Dual Mount hardware has two points of attachment to the back support canes of a wheelchair and offers simpler set up, increased adjustability, angle, and growth. It utilises the same quick-release hook and latch operation to secure the back support. Please note, this hardware option cannot be used on most wheelchairs that have a horizontal back cross brace.
The XLella2 provides a higher degree of trunk support by offloading the posterior side of the pelvis to accommodate a gluteal shelf. Its lower section has a total of 85⁰ of adjustment, with 55⁰ posterior and 30⁰ anterior. This maximises pressure distribution and relief, to assure adequate postural support, and ultimately provide comfort.
The XLella Classic Back Support is designed to support users with larger pressure distribution who require a back support with the possibility to create shapes and contours for postural support and/or changing needs. The Spex unique contouring cube system can be shaped and configured as many times as needed.

The innovative growth adjustment system has an upper sliding interface, meaning that from the initial wheelchair setup the prescriber can be confident that the back support can adjust in height as the user grows.
This is particularly effective for paediatrics. The foam and upholstery unit is matched for the longest growth setting of the Back Support, so there is no requirement to purchase different sizes of padding as the user grows.
