The airspace is a Lockout plug that aids in reducing ground handling while flying as there is no longer any need to disassemble the wheelchair for travel.
It's effective for the majority of electric-powered wheelchairs and scooters. It's robust; ergonomic construction has been designed for long life in a harsh environment.
Other uses include transport vehicles to lock out power during rides and also prevent unsolicited joy rides and theft.
The MicroTray is a combination central-mounted drive control and activity tray which also provides upper extremity support. Any mini-proportional joystick from Switch-It, Stealth or ASL can be mounted in the tray which comes pre-wired to the Active Controls quick disconnect Center Drive System.
A 3” heavy-duty arm under the tray allows a 360 degree rotational adjustment of the drive control so it can be positioned exactly where it best meets the needs of the wheelchair user. Moving the MicroTray out of the way for transfers is a breeze because it simply lifts off of the chair and can be safely stored unattached to the chair, or in an optional side-mounted holster socket on the chair.
The Platform to Re-deploy a Joystick at Midline
The ReJoy platform features pressure relieving gel pads that are adjustable by height, width and even pitch. With additional Center Drive System sockets, the same joystick can be driven from the side of the seat, or in the attendant position behind the seat.
The New Drive Control that Steers Like a Scooter
The combination of power wheelchair maneuverability and scooter style controls creates a more natural riding experience.
In the attendant position, the patent pending JoyBar provides more stability and greater control for the attendant, all without the need of upgraded electronics.
