Quick Overview

The Light Drive can be used by nearly all wheelchair users. It turns your manual wheelchair into an ultra-light, high-performance electric wheelchair in a matter of seconds.

The Light Drive is controlled with a joystick and yet remains as manoeuvrable and as easy to use as a manual chair. By releasing the clutch you can free wheel giving you the freedom to choose when to use it.

Installed in about 20 seconds, the speed is controlled with a twisting accelerator handle mounted on one of the rear handles. Safety is improved as the Light Assist holds the chair back when going downhill.

Using the inherent strengths of manual wheelchairs, the Light Drive power add-on gives people the freedom to tackle many terrains, remove the logistical problems and turn the journeys into more about the destination than the challenge of getting there.

Installation of the Light Drive²in 15 seconds

You will be surprised by the lightness and simplicity of use of the Light Drive². The unit will not change either the overall dimensions of your chair, the folding ability nor the center of balance.


Place the power add-on on the hooks of the wheelchair. Slide the battery rack on the support, the connection is automatic.


Establish the corresponding command on the bracket installed on the wheelchair.

Operation

Two motors drive directly the wheels in any direction - no turning and reverse limitations. It is possible to disengage and to roll freely in manual mode.

The initial balance of the wheelchair is kept, a removable anti-tip foot guarantees the stability.
