Clever use of twin ball joints means the head pad can be orientated to where the optimal support is required, through an available 45° of pitch; coupled with two hinge joints that offer infinite up and down, and forward and backward adjustment. The finished product… an extremely versatile mechanism that allows true adjustment of the pad position, creating a solution that is completely adaptable to the user.

Available in flip-back option for ease of transfers.

One-piece lateral head support solution for moderate head positioning needs.

The Standard Lateral Head Support, has been designed to meet moderate head positioning needs. It comprises a posterior head pad with suboccipital support to promote head positioning while the head rotates. A clever ear cut-out detail stays comfortable when resting at different positions on the pad.

Spex Head Support pads are constructed from an internal aluminium shell covered by an injection moulded polyurethane foam to ensure smooth and comfortable support surface. A soft memory foam overlay allows for pressure reduction even for clients with high tone patterns. The family of head support shapes have been geometrically and biomechanically designed to give greater support and stability for head positioning for wheelchair users. Along with the versatile Spex Stylo hardware, it’s possible to accommodate an extensive range of head positioning requirements.

The Standard Lateral Support is available in Paediatric and Adult sizes and also available in Extended Lateral versions, which are 4cm longer in lateral extension.

The Extended Lateral Head Support, has been designed to meet complex head positioning needs specifically for those with limited head control. It comprises a posterior head pad with extended support along the suboccipital area to promote head positioning while the head rotates. The lateral section extends forwards to support clients with low tone and keep the head contained within the head support.  A clever ear cut-out detail stays comfortable when resting at different positions on the pad.

A soft memory foam overlay allows for pressure reduction even for clients with high tone patterns. The Comfort Head Support provides a comfortable contoured posterior support for the head. This is an ideal solution for clients with fair head movement but require shallow contouring for extra stability and function.

The Silicone Fibre Seat Cushion is filled with silicone coated cylindrical fibres which enable it to retain its loft, so it promotes airflow and always stays comfortable. It is suitable for use on any chair or other seat.

The Dreamline Assist Cushion features the unique bubble contour technology which reduces foam tension combined with a soft Sunmate Viscoelastic foam overlay assisting with increased immersion & pressure redistribution.

With its minimal 15mm lateral profile, the Dreamline Assist cushion is designed for users with good balance & stability who self-transfer.

The Dreamline Support Cushion features the unique bubble contour technology which reduces foam tension combined with a soft Sunmate Viscoelastic foam overlay assisting with increased immersion & pressure redistribution. A medium 35mm lateral profile enhances off-loading & pressure redistribution whilst still enabling easy side or frontal transfers.

The Woven Air Sprint Cushion is an ultra-lightweight cushion specifically developed for active users. The air/foam hybrid design makes for a particular stable cushion so maximum energy is transferred into propelling. Air Tubes in the ischial region help prevent pressure injuries. Low lateral contouring helps with transfers. No maintenance is required – the air tubes are sealed & do not require inflation. The slim 65mm height under the thighs helps lower the center of gravity.
