Care Quip Mattress Overlay

Care Quip mattress overlay is made up of millions of silicone-coated cylindrical hollowed cored fibres. The resilient fibres provide excellent pressure relief while the silicone coating acts as a lubricant to eliminate friction and reduce shear forces. This coating also prevents the fibres from absorbing sweat or urine. The overlay is reversible with one side of cotton polyester for maximum comfort and the other side of waterproof polyurethane for the incontinent patient. Retention straps on all four corners keep the mattress overlay firmly in place during routine patient care. The overlay is washable and dryable.
